The gestures and methods that conductors have used to bring our favorite orchestral soundtracks remain an arcane mystery to many. This workshop aims to pierce the veil by providing select attendees the rare opportunity to take the podium and direct a chamber orchestra as they perform choice repertoire from top VGM soundtracks. The workshop will begin with a lecture and demonstration by experienced conductors of the GSO Maryland, the Irish Video Game Orchestra, and the Game Music Ensemble at UCLA. However, the bulk of the workshop will be time spent giving individualized instruction to our participants.
